Mothers who simultaneously manage nappies and businesses from home are worth £4.4bn to the British economy, according to a new study by Yellow Pages. It found that after the birth of their first child 'Kitchen Table Tycoons' feel more satisfied running their own business and are more motivated by flexibility. The report indicates that 43% of business mums feel they have the relevant skills before considering a start-up venture.
