When it comes to politicians, they are full of air, and have no intention of doing right by those who elect them to office. All one has to do is look at Obama; he promised change in is campaigning, got elected, and is so in bed with big pharma...well another story for another time.

I for one am sick of the old worn-out tongue wagging politico's who don't have a clue. Can you imagine what horrifically lousy results they would have if ever they had to work for a living - they would never survive in network marketing - their phoniness and insincerity would eat them alive.

Here in Florida it is a sunny day, and rain headed here tonight.

Enjoy your Sunday...Dom

Hi Dom

I for one do not believe in Governments, not matter what colour they come in nowadays - but they seem to be one of those "facts of life" nonetheless.

Shall we ask them to run the country as if it was a business and make them accountable personally for losses? Now that would change the playing field no doubt ;-)

I also read these articles. I was more and more gobsmacked as I read the bland and meaningless Osborne article. It really did tell me nothing.
No change there from the average politician.

Hi KG

Nope, bland and meaningless average politicians only seem be able to spout bland and meaningless words. Or spend their time blaming the other side for the non-changes - whatever that might be - and comfortably forget that the UK is since a long time part of a world economy/environment where everything is connected.

How much real influence do they think they really have to change this?

Only "small change" can be expected from politicians
