Honoured to be included in the W-list
August 10, 2007
Yesterday, when I was 'hiding-out' at my friend Lesley's place - EDF our electricity supplier had decided it was time to cut all power in a large part of our village for maintenance a whole day long, great! What's a business supposed to do then? - I found my own Kiss2 blog on the W-list: Gathering a list of Outstanding Women Bloggers.
(Do read all comments made on Liz' post and also her other post on Personal Integrity: why a list - not for equality fighting, but to honour the women 1% outlaws of culture - and I'm with Tully - one of my turtle friends: "make it about brilliant women bloggers who deserve to be recognized. Recognized because they are brilliant and provide value to the blogging community - not because they aren’t men.")
So here's the list (with additions from Liz's comment-box)

Hi Susan
Exactly! (As one of our village friends always pronounces very loud ;-))
Is your reader also filling up with wonderful new 'finds' because of the list?

Karin:
Thank you for spreading the list in the same spirit it was created. And I see you are a friend of Tully as well ;-)
If we continue to share and link back eventually we will all be one great project group -- The Age of Conversation meets the Z-List meets the W-List and all the other wonderful writers and publisher out in the 'sphere.

Hi Valeria (instigator of the W-list ;-))
I do consider turtle Tully as a one of my many blog-friends and we seem to think alike on many issues. When I read his first comment on Liz's post I nodded in agreement, hence the mentioning here. It's about 'content' not gender, isn't it?
Conversations aplenty, be it from A-lists, Z-lists, M-lists, W-lists etc.
(still means I feel proud to be on this list ;-))

Hi Karin, I'm preparing to post the list, too, and I'm posting tonight but plan to include additions that Cat and others might include before that time. :-)

Hi Robyn
The more the merrier!
(Only hope nobody starts a Squidoo list, debacle of the 'famous' Z-list ranking comes to mind ;-))
But women are wiser, not?

Awwwww - I have friends (and good ones too!)! ;)
Happy to see that you're on the list - I would have had to taken someone to task if you weren't! Enjoy the accolades, you deserve them!

Hi CB
We will 'floor' them ;-)
Tully!
So a turtle would turn into a 'knight in shining armor' if needed, that is very comforting to know ;-)
